The Chairman of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Kano Chapter, Engr. Dr. Murtala Alhaji Garba, on Tuesday, 17th December 2025, paid a courtesy visit to the Head Office of ENGAUSA Global Tech Hub. The visit marked a significant moment of professional recognition, institutional engagement, and reaffirmation of the critical role of engineers in driving inclusive skills development and youth empowerment.
The visit was to formally honour the Chief Executive Officer of ENGAUSA Global Tech Ltd, Engr. Mustapha Habu Ringim, a respected member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, for his outstanding contributions to the development of Nigeria’s engineering and skills ecosystem—notably through the combined work of ENGAUSA Global Tech Ltd and the ENGAUSA Skills Development Foundation (ESDF).
Recognition of Excellence and Ecosystem Impact
During the visit, the NSE Kano leadership presented the Certificate of Award earlier conferred on Engr. Ringim by the Society. The award recognizes his sustained and measurable contributions to

Engr. Mustapha Habu Ringim was earlier celebrated as Special Guest of Honour during the NSE Kano Chapter Monthly Meeting held on 30th July 2025, where the Society publicly acknowledged his growing influence in repositioning engineering as a tool for employment creation, skills development, and social transformation.
The recognition reflected both his personal professional journey and the institutional impact of ENGAUSA Global Tech Ltd and ENGAUSA Skills Development Foundation, particularly in advocating for TVET as a viable, respected, and future-ready pathway for Nigeria’s youth.
Thought Leadership: Engineers as Catalysts for Youth Empowerment
At the July NSE meeting, Engr. Ringim presented a thought-provoking technical paper titled:
“Bridging the Skill Gaps: The Role of Engineers in Empowering Unemployed Youths through Practical Innovation.”
In his presentation, he challenged engineers to move beyond traditional practice and embrace their responsibility as mentors, innovators, and ecosystem builders. Drawing from real-world experiences at ENGAUSA, he highlighted how:
• Engineers can design practice-driven TVET and skills models
• Engineering hubs can bridge the gap between theory, industry, and community needs
• Foundations such as ENGAUSA Skills Development Foundation can scale impact by combining skills delivery with TVET advocacy and awareness
The paper generated rich discussions among NSE members and reinforced the message that engineering excellence must be judged by its contribution to societal development.
Courtesy Visit as a Platform for Strategic Engagement
The courtesy visit also served as a platform for strategic dialogue between the NSE Kano Chapter and ENGAUSA leadership on:
• Strengthening industry–professional–community linkages
• Supporting young engineers through mentorship and practical exposure
• Leveraging ESDF’s TVET awareness campaigns to reach underserved populations
• Promoting ethical, inclusive, and socially responsible engineering practice
Both parties expressed optimism about future collaborations that will further entrench engineering professionalism while expanding access to skills, innovation, and decent work.

Receiving the delegation, Engr.
