In a commendable effort to foster community development and youth empowerment, Engausa Global Tech Hub proudly welcomed students from Government Girls Science Secondary School (GGSSS) Taura for an insightful educational visit. The event took place at the hub’s advanced training facility and marked a significant step in Engausa’s ongoing mission to equip the younger generation with practical, hands-on digital and vocational skills.
The highlight of the visit was an inspiring speech delivered by the Managing Director of Engausa Hub, Engr. Mustapha Habu. In his address, he encouraged the students to actively engage in acquiring digital and vocational skills, even while still in school. He emphasized that having a skill does not conflict with academic pursuits in fact, it complements and strengthens one’s future prospects. He shared powerful examples of how skill acquisition has changed lives, particularly highlighting the success stories of young women who, through Engausa Hub, have learned marketable digital skills and now run thriving businesses.
Engr. Mustapha’s words were filled with motivation and real-life insights. He urged the students not just to be passive learners, but to become creators and innovators in the digital space. His passion and dedication to youth development left a lasting impression on the students, sparking a new sense of purpose and ambition.
The visit was more than just a tour of the facility it was an opportunity to experience transformation through storytelling, mentorship, and inspiration. One of the most inspiring sessions was the practical demonstration of the innovative solutions designed and fabricated in ENGAUSA HUB, like Smart Home switches, Online Access Control, Power Bank, and rechargeable lamps. These stories showcased how they started with little or no knowledge of digital tools but, through consistency, dedication, and support from Engausa Hub, became skilled professionals running successful ventures.
This initiative reflects Engausa Hub’s commitment to inclusive learning, with a special focus on using the Hausa language as a medium of instruction. This approach breaks language barriers, allowing youth from all backgrounds to easily understand, learn, and grow. It also aligns with Engausa Hub’s vision of creating opportunities that are accessible and relatable, particularly for young people in Northern Nigeria.
The visit concluded with renewed excitement among the GGSSS Taura students, many of whom expressed a desire to return and enroll in Engausa’s training programs. It was a day of inspiration, learning, and new beginnings a true reflection of the impact digital education can have when made accessible and community-driven.
