ENGAUSA® Hub Bags Another National Award of Excellence from NITDA
Four years after receiving national recognition as the Best Trainer among partners of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), ENGAUSA Global Tech Hub has once again distinguished itself on the national stage, earning a prestigious Award of Excellence for its outstanding contributions to inclusive digital literacy, grassroots innovation and youth empowerment in Nigeria.

In October 2022, ENGAUSA Global Tech Hub received the Best Trainer Award at the Digital Nigeria International Conference, marking a significant milestone in its commitment to bridging Nigeria’s digital skills gap through innovative and inclusive learning approaches.
That achievement was further reinforced on 20 October 2026, during the National Digital Literacy Workshop organised by NITDA in Abuja under its Digital Literacy for All (DL4ALL) Initiative. The workshop, themed “Measuring Progress, Strengthening Partnerships and Accelerating Impact,” brought together stakeholders committed to advancing Nigeria’s ambitious target of achieving 70 per cent digital literacy by 2027.

At the workshop, ENGAUSA Global Tech Hub was recognised as one of the leading contributors to Nigeria’s digital literacy advancement, having trained 11,332 Nigerians out of a total of 2.77 million trainees recorded by 252 registered organisations on the National Digital Literacy Dashboard. These figures reflect cumulative training records from 2022 to date, as documented through the national digital literacy reporting exercise.

The national dashboard brings together contributions from government institutions, universities, technology companies, civil society organisations and development partners, including prominent stakeholders such as Cisco and the Centre for Information Technology and Development (CITAD).
Beyond numerical achievements, however, ENGAUSA’s distinctive contribution lies in the depth of its inclusivity, the diversity of its beneficiaries and its integrated approach to transforming digital literacy into practical competencies, innovation, entrepreneurship and sustainable economic opportunities.
This philosophy aligns closely with the objectives of NITDA’s Digital Literacy for All Initiative and the broader vision of inclusive national prosperity under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

In recognition of these contributions, the Director-General of NITDA, Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, presented an Award of Excellence in Inclusive Digital Empowerment to the Chief Executive Officer of ENGAUSA Global Tech Hub and Founder of ENGAUSA Skills Development Foundation, Engr. Mustapha Habu Ringim.

The award acknowledges ENGAUSA’s outstanding commitment to inclusive digital literacy and the digital empowerment of underserved communities through technology, innovation and skills development.
The award recognises ENGAUSA® Hub’s “outstanding commitment to inclusive digital literacy and the digital empowerment of underserved communities through technology, innovation and skills development.”

We share this honour with our dedicated team, learners and partners. We sincerely thank NITDA for recognising our work and encouraging our continued commitment to advancing digital inclusion.
