ENGAUSA Powers Robotics and Electronics Training at the Kano Digital Kids
Summer vacation is often seen as a time for children to rest from school. At ENGAUSA Global Tech Hub, we see it as an equally important time to build the skills that will shape their future.
This belief recently took center stage as ENGAUSA Global Tech Hub Ltd proudly contributed to the Kano Digital Kids Bootcamp, a Summer Vacation STEAM Training programme organized by the Kano State Information Technology Development Agency (KASITDA).
The bootcamp brought together young learners from across Kano State for an immersive summer experience built around STEAM education, which combines Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics into one practical learning framework.
As part of this collaborative programme, ENGAUSA was entrusted with designing and delivering the Technology and Engineering components of the training. This responsibility placed ENGAUSA at the heart of one of the bootcamp's most hands-on and exciting sections.
Rather than sitting through theory-heavy lessons, the children were guided through practical, hands-on learning in Robotics and Electronics. They explored how machines are built, how circuits work, and how technology can be used to solve everyday problems.
Through creativity, experimentation and guided instruction, the young participants were able to move beyond simply using technology to actually understanding how it works, and how they can build with it themselves.

This approach reflects a core part of ENGAUSA's teaching philosophy: that children learn best when they are given the tools to explore, create and discover on their own, with the right guidance to support them along the way.
Programmes like the Kano Digital Kids Bootcamp are especially valuable because they reach children early, at an age when curiosity is high and habits are still being formed. Introducing them to Robotics and Electronics at this stage helps build confidence, problem-solving skills and a genuine interest in technology that can shape their choices for years to come.
It is also worth noting how much these skills matter beyond the classroom. Robotics teaches children how to break big problems into small, manageable steps. Electronics teaches patience, precision and an understanding of how the devices around them actually function. Together, these skills lay a foundation that can support future learning in coding, engineering, and other advanced technology fields as the children grow older.
Equally important is the environment in which this learning took place. Bootcamp-style programmes give children the chance to learn alongside their peers, share ideas, and build confidence in a supportive, energetic setting, something that is often difficult to replicate in a regular classroom during term time. For many of the children, this may have been their first real, hands-on encounter with Robotics and Electronics, and first experiences like this often leave a lasting impression.
For ENGAUSA, contributing to this initiative was more than a training engagement. It was an opportunity to extend our mission of breaking barriers and bridging gaps to even more young minds across Kano State, in partnership with an organization equally committed to youth development.
We are proud to work alongside KASITDA and other stakeholders who share our belief that investing in children's technology education today is one of the most important investments we can make in the region's future.

The success of the Kano Digital Kids Bootcamp is a reminder of what is possible when government agencies, training institutions and communities come together with a shared purpose: preparing young people not just to use technology, but to lead with it.
As ENGAUSA Global Tech Hub continues to expand its reach across Northern Nigeria and beyond, initiatives like this reaffirm our commitment to supporting every child's journey toward becoming an innovator, a problem-solver, and a technology leader of tomorrow.
We remain delighted to support programmes that inspire young minds to explore technology, build practical solutions, and dream bigger about what they can achieve.
